I am currently having a love affair with SH2. You should love it too.

Creepy as hell; it completely wraps you up in the storyline until it becomes an absoloute need to get to the bottom of it all. The story itself really struck a chord with me and is like nothing I have ever played/watched/read before. Not to mention, the crazy, disturbing monster design (PYRAMID HEAD!) and the cunning puzzles laid throughout the game.

In fact, what I adore most about it is the fact that the game actually makes you think: During the puzzles; trying to figure out the storyline and well after you've finished playing it. Not many video games do that.

Play it, if you haven't already. And for those who know all about Silent Hill, which do you think should be played next - Should I go forwards to SH3 or backwards to SH1?

Yeah i the collectors edition of it when i first got my ps2 when they came out, its crazy. i would say go back and play through that way, maybe starting with origins rather then 1 and just go through them all, now 4, that one is wierd, quick tip bout that one, when you get to pick a doll up from a guy on some stairs, dont cause it'll make your game hell from then on.

Play both. But, I would start with 1, as 3 is linked to 1. So play 1 first.
