Im downloading it at the moment at it seems to be going extremely slow..im a 13kbs ( im usually at 700+kbs) is it your download server or what? Been waiting 1 hour or so and its 61.6mb copied so far.. And i really want this so ima wait it out :D just letting you know your download server is a bit slow

Is it possible to make a patch where you switch Rufus w/ Cloud, Reno w/ Barret, Elena w/ Tifa, etc, except keeping few of the characters unchanged, like Cait, Red, and Aeris? That would be interesting and hilarious. I know it doesn't have anything to do w/ this thread, but I didn't know where else to post it. :)

I have no idea what to do w/ Tseng. But it would be hilarious to see Barret and Vincent in Gongaga, asking eack other who they like.

I'd replace regular Vincent with Turk Vincent...and have Tseng replace Yuffie. (Just for laughs!)

That would be awesome, but they don't have any of the right animations, do they? 0.o

Tseng and Turk Vincent don't have battle animations. Reno, Rufus, Rude and Elena do.
I think putting the 4 who have battle animations up for a mod would be a good idea. When I get a hold of an FF7 for PC I'd download it. But here's who I'd replace with who and who I would leave alone:

Tseng and Turk Vincent should be left alone (no battle animations, although it would have been lolarious to see Tseng get killed by Sephy in City Of The Ancients!) as should Cid, Yuffie and Aerith.

I'd replace Barret with Reno, just purely for the slang similarities. You wouldn't have to change much at all. Just slap 'yo' onto some sentances.

I'd also replace Tifa with Elena, for the obvious reason of them both being girls and would suit the switch.

I think switching Vincent with Rude might be a good idea, considering Rude's tendancy to be quiet.

Obvious change here, switch Cloud with Rufus. An easy solution to how the hell ShinRa are the heroes in this could be that Rufus sees the damage his fathers company is doing and plans to stop it...but there are bastards in SOLDIER who want to take over ShinRa and make it into some kind of military-based weapon producer...or a chocolate factory. I forgot which one my sister suggested.
Anyway, when Prez. ShinRa gets knifed by Sephiroth and dies, Cloud (being the best SOLDIER in the world) takes poition as the head of ShinRa after claiming Rufus is dead.
So Rufus sets out on the same quest as Cloud would have in FF7, only he has no control over ShinRa anymore.

It's probably an impossible project, but it is still fun to think about it. And what I wouldn't give to have Reno in my party! Rufus would just be a bonus!

For extra laughs, why don't we switch Palmer with Cait Sith? He has a battle animation.

Haha, replace everybody's least favourite character with everybody's favourite executive... or something like that anyway.

Hey guys why not replace Scarlet, Tseng, and Turk Vincent with Biggs, Wedge, and Jessie? Since none of them have battle animations, we won't miss anything.

umm im new and i really like the screenshots of this project but i need some help i installed ff7 on my computer today do i just download the sephiroth patch ? or do i need something else ?

and finally which one is better the zack patch or spehiroth ?
