BlackMage: After installing FFVII PC version, you just need to download install the Sephiroth Patch Version 1.1 (full version).

As for which patch is better Spehiroth or Zack. They're both (pretty much) complete swaps, although the Sephiroth patch does have a couple of weird bugs mainly on the limit breaks. However, the Sephiroth patch has more modding genius i.e. Safer and bizzaro Cloud :jump:

I guess it just comes to which character you want to play as :thumb:

As for the big ShinRa swap - it would be ALOT of hard, mind nummingly dull work to do so many character swaps. Plus, the battle swaps would be a nightmare - none of the ShinRa characters have limit breaks plus half the animations are missing e.g. use items/magic/KO/run away.

And, unfortunately, unless you want to rename hundreds of animation files you are gonna have to keep him in the party cos no other caracter can use his animations.

Same with RedXIII - although you could change him for Dark Nation - I've done that once :p

The voice of "realistic expectations" has spoken.

I had a thought.

I read the comment about not all of Clouds limit breaks working with Sephiroth due to the Seph model not being animated for them. So what if you just had the Limit breaks be the ones that were animated and work properly and have the final limit break be Super Nova. Since you cant be Sephiroth and not have that tech ^_^

Can't wait, when do you think it will be done??? :jump:

hey I don't think that the download links work properly any more. The link wouldn't take me to the page, all I got was File Front's home page.

Hey sorry to double post but it seems the full version of the sephiroth patch (the 138MB one) and the cut scene pack have been taken off file front. Which is really annoying cause I just got my hands on a copy of FFVII for PC and I am dying to try this. Sorry again!

ArxtheHero: The Sephiroth patch can be "undone" by unistalling the game. Awkward I know, but unavoidable.

MattTribal: It's only just been brought to my attention that FileFront have deleted three of my patches. Bastards. Unfortunately, I don't have a backup on my computer to reupload. I'll try and find someone who does have a copy to get it reuploaded.

In the meantime, download the small version of the Sephiroth patch - it does everything the "full version" does, it just has a long winded installation. The ReadMe has full instructions.

I know this is old but, i was wondering if there's any new versions, or character swaps? Im downloading the small file sephiroth patch and going to download the cut scene one too, thank you.

Another thing ive installed it, battle works and the party icon so far, however it is still clouds model whilst running around towns.

Ahh, got it working but i don't think it's worth it in the long run, limit break glitches and other stuff, although it's still a neat feature and major props to you for doing it, i just thought there would of been some changes since it's been over a year, but still thanks anyway, it just got stuck when your about to jump on the train, i think il just play reguarly, but yeah thanks again. Hopefully some other mods will work well in the future.
