If I make any "edits" to the forum/anything else I think you need to know about the forum - I'll post it here. Basically a "forum news" thread.

I've activated "automatic pruning" on the forum and set it to seven days. This means that if a thread hasn't been posted in for a week, it will be automatically deleted (exceptions being sticky's and announcement threads).

I've also reworked the rank system to extend the top rank to 2000 posts. So don't panic if you're rank has been suddenly altered - it's not a bug or anything!

Lastly, I've stickyed the rule thread to each forum so there's more chance noobies will read it

NOTE: Don't post in this thread (so everyone can easily see if it's been updated with a new announcement) instead, start a new topic to discuss whatever it is you want to debate.

If your wondering why the forums are so buggy at the moment, it's because my forum host is updating their servers. Give it a few days and everything will be working again

The savvy members among you may have noticed that the You Tube forum is no longer in existance as, brought to my attention by dear old Gazzy, it no longer had a reason to exist i.e. no one posted there.

You may have noticed that the forum has suddenly become dotted in a small amount of (annoying) advertisements. No, this is not me selling out, but infact my forum host selling out.

"FreeForums.org" were the only forum host to provide a service 100% free of advertisements, however, in their 1 year of existance they have grown rapidly to the point where they can no longer (apparently) cope with their considerable server costs unless adverts are displayed.

Thus, they've been forced onto us. To get rid of the adverts I would have to swap to paid hosting, which (untill I'm making a revenue myself:p) I do not wish to do.

The good thing about this is that there should be alot less downtime of the forum as "FreeForums.org" are now being paid to keep it running. They have "promised" less downtime in return for the ads.

... They're not that intrusive really...
